I’m a regular citizen. A mom and a wife. I grew up on a farm in North Dakota and chose Minnesota as my adult home. I’ve lived here for 25 years. This is where I built my life, my career, and my family.
I’m not a career politician and I’m not affiliated with any political party. I’m running because governing in Minnesota has become more complicated than it needs to be, while missing the basics that matter most to families, workers, and communities.
My goal is simple. Minnesota should be able to pass an audit. We can fund the programs people care about if we eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse. Public dollars should benefit the communities where we live.
The Daylight Project is about running the state with transparency, honesty, and responsibility. I believe we can find common ground on practical solutions that make everyday life better and restore trust in how government operates.
And yes, we should stop changing the clocks twice a year. Permanent Daylight Saving Time is a practical quality-of-life improvement. Minnesota should adopt it as soon as possible.
The legislature debates and passes policy.
The governor administers it.
I am running to be Minnesota’s chief executive officer.
My responsibility is administration and transparency.
Making sure your money goes where it's supposed to
Minnesota’s government belongs to the people who fund it.
Every public dollar has a purpose.
It was collected with the expectation that it would support Minnesota’s communities and programs in a meaningful way.
Daylight means being able to trace that purpose from collection to outcome. It means understanding what is working, what is not, and making changes when needed.
